Jeff Dermott is an established painting contractor and Resene Colour Shop based in Christchurch. The company already had a website but wanted to update it with the following aims:

1. to introduce the company branding into the website
2. to have a separate identity for the Painting Services and Resene Colour Shop
3. to have an easily updated gallery for displaying recent work by the Painting Services arm of the company

Flat White Designs have produced a portfolio website design that meets these three basic objectives. The theme of the front page and painting services pages is based on the existing Jeff Dermott logo. The site theme has been carried through to the Resene Colour Shop page but has been modifed to incorporate the familiar Resene colours. A custom gallery function has been added to allow Jeff Dermott to easily display images of their most recent work with supporting text and a slideshow of older work. 

The database-driven nature of the site, means that it is easy for Jeff Dermott to update text and images on their site, using only the browser on their PC.
